Charles DeMark, MS, CRC, CCM

Charles DeMarkCharles DeMark is the President of Coastal Vocational Services. He has over 30 years of experience in the vocational rehabilitation profession. He graduated from Virginia Commonwealth University in 1973 with a Master’s degree in Rehabilitation Counseling. He is a Certified Rehabilitation Counselor as well as a Diplomate for the American Board of Vocational Experts. Prior to entering the vocational rehabilitation profession, Charles was credited with setting up the first government-supervised drug free residential center in the Tidewater Area. In August of 1997, Charles was appointed legal guardian/ conservator to a brain-injured individual to whom he provided expert services in the past. Charles has been working with plaintiff and defense attorneys, economists, employers, insurance companies, physicians and the U.S. Department of Labor’s Office of Administrative Law Judges, the Social Security Administration, the Virginia Workers’ Compensation Commission, as well as area circuit and federal courts. Charles expertise ranges from documenting a loss of wage of earning capacity to vocational evaluation, job placement, physician consultation, on-the-job training coordination, vocational testing, transferrable skills analysis, and expert testimony.

Michael DeMark, M.S. Ed, CRC

Michael DemarkMichael DeMark joined Coastal Vocational Services in May of 2012. Prior to working at Coastal
Vocational, Michael was a Neuropsychiatric Case Manager with the Virginia Institute of Neuropsychiatry in Midlothian, VA. He received a B.S. in Business administration from Old Dominion University in 2010 and Master’s degree in Rehabilitation Counseling from Auburn University in May of 2012.
